Ingredients: Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Glycerine, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Aqua (Water), Stearic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid; Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Parfum (Jasmine); Benzyl Alcohol & Salicylic Acid (Geogard Ecocert preservative).
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate is a solid, gentle anionic surfactant made from coconut oil. It offers gentle “lace glove” lather to our products. It’s also naturally acidic, so it helps our end products have a skin-friendly pH with less (or no) adjusting.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a liquid made from coconut oil. It is a great co-surfectant that makes the blend milder, more gentle. It helps to improve the foam and thickens the blends.
Stearic Acid is an isolated fatty acid that is used as a thickener and hardener in lotions, salves, body butters, etc. It occurs naturally in butters like cocoa and shea. Stearic acid also produces creamier/richer products.
Caprylyl Glycol is an alcohol derived from a fatty acid. It is a humectant—a hydrating ingredient that works by attracting water to and holding it in the skin.
Sorbic Acid occurs naturally in berries of the mountain ash tree, Sorbus aucuparia, Rosaceae.
